As first reported by Bucknuts’ Patrick Murphy and subsequently confirmed by BuckeyesNow, Ohio State redshirt freshman cornerback Ryan Watts has entered his name into the transfer portal.

A former four-star prospect from Little Elm, Texas, Watts played just 122 defensive snaps for the Buckeyes this season.

Watts becomes the fourth Ohio State player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the regular season, joining quarterbacks Jack Miller and Quinn Ewers and linebacker/safety Craig Young.

This is a breaking news story that will be updated.
